Living Film Set / 2010

Analogue have been announced as a recipient of a Theatre Sandbox commission, supported by Arts Council England. Hosted by The Junction, Cambridge

This pioneering scheme is an opportunity for theatre artists to research and develop new ideas that use pervasive media technologies, and is a unique chance to experiment, explore and take risks within a supported environment. This is the first commissioning scheme of its kind in the UK in the theatre sector.

In a unique interactive experience for audiences, Analogue use 21st century connectedness to explore disconnections between ourselves in the present and semi-remembered events of our childhood. You are invited to navigate through the reconstructed events in May 1985, beginning with a phone call that has long since vanished from history...

Analogue produces challenging, highly inventive performance, mixing cutting edge technologies with theatrical traditions from the past. The company's previous work includes the critically acclaimed Mile End and Beachy Head.

'Analogue is a young company certain to make its mark on British theatre' Guardian

'Neuron firing, emotionally hot-wired theatre from a visionary young company' Metro

Theatre Sandbox is originated and produced by iShed, part of Watershed in Bristol. It is funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
